Procore on Albanian projects: one system instead of a hundred emails
October 2026 · 3 min read · De Consulting

On most projects we see, the current drawing is somewhere in an email thread, approvals are given on WhatsApp and the site diary is a notebook. Procore puts all of it in one place that the owner, consultants and contractors share.
What changes when a project runs on Procore
- Drawings and documents. One current set, with every revision kept and marked. Nobody builds from an old drawing.
- RFIs. Questions to the design team are numbered, assigned and tracked to an answer, with a due date.
- Submittals. Material and shop drawing approvals follow a set route, so you can see what is waiting and on whose desk.
- Daily logs and photos. Site records are dated, searchable and tied to locations.
- Changes and budget. Change events link to cost, so the owner sees the effect of each change on the budget.
How we set it up in four weeks
- Week 1. Create the project, folder and numbering standards, and user roles for every company.
- Week 2. Load the current drawing set and specifications, and set up the RFI and submittal workflows.
- Week 3. Train the team on site, in Albanian and English, using the project's own documents.
- Week 4. Switch off the old routes. If it is not in Procore, it did not happen.
What it costs
Procore is licensed by the owner or the contractor based on construction volume, not per user, so every consultant and subcontractor can be invited without extra licence fees. The bigger cost is discipline in the first months, and that is where an administrator on the team makes the difference.
